I watched Life On Our Planet which features David Attenborough speaking about how humans have affected wildlife and the natural world in general during his lifetime.
Trailblazers: Bill Murray
Bill Murray is an American actor, comedian, and writer that has produced a broad and diverse range of work that has been highly regarded across various audiences. In this episode of Trailblazers, Ollie Nicholas and Dan Girdler attempt to delve deeper into Bill’s mind to explore what makes him such a unique and influential performer.
The mind of a comedian is often multi-dimensional, built up by a composition of deep complexities and simple pleasures. Bill Murray embodies this spirit and has been hugely influential across a broad range of work. Personally I am a huge fan of this guy and my ambition was to explore his life to see what can be learnt from it.
Bill’s career has spanned 45 years. He’s been a comedian, a golfer, a Hollywood actor, a barman and karaoke extraordinaire, just to name a few things. But more than anything, he’s been imperfect, insightful and at times relatable. During this podcast, Dan and I probably didn’t get any closer to being able to define the man properly, but he provoked a lot of conversation. We were inquisitive and we laughed a lot and I guess that’s as important as anything.
I hope you join us for the ride and be sure to listen long enough to hear a beautiful rendition of ‘Life on Mars’ covered by Seu Jorge.
